Scan Results

Hello, I hope that everyone is doing well. I am sorry for not posting sooner about my scan results, I have been fighting fevers and fatigue, this last week was a knockout for me. I pretty much slept away Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I did get the results from the CAT scan I had recently, everything looks good. I have an appointment with my Onc. at Stanford in May just to keep him in the loop with the latest. I don’t mind making a trip up there, plus it’s a good reason to get donut holes for the road…lol.
I had another neupogen injection today, had one yesterday, one more on Thursday, then it’s back to chemo on Monday.
I hope that everyone has a wonderful Easter.

Eli

Hi Eli!

Thanks for letting us know about your scan—that’s wonderful news! I’m sorry the chemo is throwing you some bad punches, but you are doing all the right things—getting plenty of rest and planning to snag some donut holes! I hope tomorrow is a better day for you!

Hugs—
Martha

Be strong Eli! You’ll get past this!

It’s good to hear that you’re doing good. I just found this website, and it’s awesome! I’m happy that people like us can just talk about our experiences without feeling a little uncomfortable like I do at school.

Hope you have a good Easter!

p.s. Chemo sux! But you are definitely stronger!

I’m glad to hear about the scan…great news, Eli! It’s too bad you’ve been laid low by the chemo, but hey, you’ll come back stronger than ever!

Take care and enjoy the donut holes. :-)

Mari

So happy to hear of the good scan. Hope you have lots of rest over the next few days. Rachel xo

I wondered where you were. Glad to hear the good news from the scan! When you are tired like that the best thing is just to rest and sleep. I know better times are coming Eli so just hang in there through this. You are knocking it out!
OK tell your secret..where do you get the donut holes?
Take care and it is good to hear from you!

glad to hear things are continuing to be good for you. rest up, stay positive and life when it sucks the most. it tends to piss it off.

Oh Eli – fevers and fatigue – not great and your body is doing its bit to manage and heal the onslaught of the poisoning so am glad to hear you are doing what you need to do re rest.

Glad to hear that the scan results are looking good and sending vibes via mt eli to support those neupogen shots in strengthening your white blood cell production in readiness for the next round of super-effective chemo.

Love to you and wishing you new life and new beginnings at Easter time. xx

sounds good! Have a good Easter!

Hope you have a restful Easter weekend, Eli. Donut holes on the way there, hitting the fruit/veggie stand on the way home. Glad things are going well, can’t wait til you’re back to your peppy self again :)
